For body protection, a U-formed or completely closed lead castle is built on the work bench. Protected by the shielding, radiopharmaceuticals can be handled this way. The lead shielding consists of lead components according to DIN 25407, e.g. with 50 mm shielding capacity. The lead shielding can be expanded by a lead glass window to be mounted.
The work bench consists of a stable steel frame construction to carry heavy objects (up to 850 kg/m²), e.g. lead shielding, Tc-generators, etc. In accordance with the standards for working with unsealed radioactive materials, the stainless steel table plate is provided with a raised profle edge (8 mm) on all sides. Beside standard dimensions we can also supply work benches with customer-specific dimensions.
Unigamma M is the newest multi-detector, fan beam Bone Densitometer DEXA (Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) manufactured by l'acn. The 3 or 5 channels architecture allows reduced scan times and better image resolution. Moreover, the small fan-beam configuration minimizes the geometrical distortion, ever on whole body scans. For special applications, it is also possible to use the unit i a pencil-beam mode, using only the central channel.
MONOGAMMA Thyroid Uptake System is produced in two versions: one with moving collimator and one with static collimator. Both versions are equipped with GAMMAINTERFACE I/O unit, which allows data transmission between the 2" x 2” NaI(Tl) probe and a Personal Computer. The WUPTAKE software, supplied withMONOGAMMA runs under WINDOWS XP operating system and allows data acquisition and graphical elaboration, to organize a patients database and to perform a spectrum analysis of any radioactive isotope wich may be employed..

gammaCell Twin is a manipulation cell of radiopharmaceuticals in double chamber. It is designed to allow the manipulation of radiopharmaceuticals preparations in accordance with the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), namely, in safe conditions for both the operators and the patients. gammaCell Twin is made up of two adjacent manipulation cells connected by a pass-through chamber, allowing to insert syringes or containers of radiopharmaceutical preparations. One workspace can be set to be used as an isolator, and the second one can be used for conventional kit preparations and as pre-chamber for the isolator. An Automatic Fractioning System, can be optionally housed in the hot cell, making it easy to prepare the doses to be used in the daily practice of the Nuclear Medicine Centre. 99mTc generators access for radiopharmaceutical preparation and storage, waste management, dose measurement (see Dose Calibrator section) occur in a certified Vertical Laminar Flow throughout the whole workspace. This gamma counter can also supply more precise measurements than those performed with a one detector system. VIDEOGAMMA Rack is the first apparatus of a new generation of gamma counters. It is the first device at all that allows measurements without needing to download the tubes from their rack. It is the first instrument in the world designed for carrying automatically tubes from their rack to the detection system. For the first time the area where measurement takes place and the area where tubes are positioned are separated. In this way any kind of interference is excluded.
